KSW 114 Preview: Parnasse v Held, Wrzosek v Bajor, Fadipe returns

KSW returns to the Mazovian city of Radom in the eastern central part of Poland this Saturday night. KSW 114 hits up the Radom Sports Centre with nine fights on deck under KSW mixed martial arts rules, including one for an international KSW championship.

The main event sees the return of Le Champ Champ, the KSW Featherweight and the KSW Lightweight Champion Salahdine Parasse (21-2). Europe’s brightest prospect puts his title on the line for the fourth time, and he comes in after winning his first professional boxing bout in October. The 28-year-old is the premier mixed martial artist competing on the continent, and he’s been the gold standard for years. The Aubervilliers man is a savant on the feet, combining fantastic timing with otherworldly technique, fight IQ linked in with speed, majestic footwork with a killer instinct. The “Lion of Atlas” has been favouring knockouts the last few years, whilst early in his career he might sink in a choke after overwhelming you for a few rounds, now he’s racking up highlight reel shots and following up with some shots on the floor if need be. Thirteen wins have come within the distance. Marcin Held (31-10) is a man who’s been there, done that and bought the t-shirt. The Tychy man is one of Poland’s best BJJ black belts, and has been for quite some time. Under the mixed rules, he had a four-fight run in the UFC and was a long-time Bellator and PFL competitor. The 33-year-old has been hanging around the top of the world rankings for many years. The Ankos MMA Poznań man is an elite submission player who will attack any limb and has a wide range of chokes he can utilise. Sixteen wins have been via tap out, with his most common coming via leg and knee locks. He’s also very serviceable on the feet, only being finished twice via strikes in his long career. The challenger is a style profile that Parnasse has not faced before.

Arkadiusz Wrzosek (6-1) is one of the promotion’s most hyped and popular fighters on the current roster. The 33-year-old transitioned to MMA from kickboxing, a code where he competed for Glory and has many high profile victories, most notably Badr Hari. The Uniq Fight Club man sprinted to a perfect 6-0 to begin his KSW career, bringing all the things the fans love, emotion, drama, pageantry and jeopardy. “Hightower” earned a title shot against dominant champ Phil De Fries, alas it was too much too soon and he wasn’t at his 100% best, so suffered his first defeat in the small gloves. The Legia Warsaw fan will have loud and lovely support willing to get him back into the win column using his elite striking and knockout power. Szymon Bajor (26-12) will have a big mixed martial arts experience advantage here. The 37-year-old enters his sixteenth season as a professional, and he’s one of Poland’s most well rounded heavyweights. The Rzeszów man has ten stoppages via striking and ten stoppages with his submission play. The PFL and Rizin veteran also fell short of beating Phil De Fries and comes in off a victory over Ricardo Prasel. His striking style features some vicious short shots such as lethal elbows and dirty boxing, and he loves to attack the arms in the submission game. The Pole can make things ugly and gritty, and has only succumbed to strikes three times as a pro.

Wiktoria Czyżewska (6-1) is KSW’s big young hope. Still only 21-years-old, “Chicatoro” has been a tornado of violence in her fledgling career. The Końskie lady has been involved in the striking arts since she learned to walk, and if she is allowed to pick up a head of steam, opponents just get overwhelmed. Now based out of Katowice and winning her last four bouts, her reputation only grows. Klaudia Mitko, a high level BJJ black belt, will be in the corner and the pair have been inseparable for the last few years, and have been working on upgrading her grappling game. Czyżewska has real star power and can end things instantly with her fists or a big head kick. Tamires Vidal (7-4) was supposed to take this fight last July but picked up a knee injury. The UFC and LFA veteran is most famous for her flying knee knockout over Ramona Pascual in the UFC Apex back in May 2022. The Brazilian was a champion back in her homeland and she also has a sneaky Jiu Jitsu game in her back pocket, eager to attack arms and legs for kimuras and foot locks. Her losses were all to very capable world level bantamweights. The 27-year-old will be very game, but must guard the body where she’s been folded before.

Ibragim Chuzigaev (19-8) is the former KSW Light Heavyweight champion, and picked up a defeat on his promotional return to Marcin Wójcik in July. The Turkish national was a long time ACA/ACB fighter and is a highly skilled gentleman. The 34-year-old is a talented kickboxer who works the levels and distance well, and can deliver a powerful punch as evidenced by his eight knockout wins. He’s also got a grappling game with a propensity to hit an arm triangle. Maciej Różański (15-6) is a training partner of former champion Tomasz Narkun and is a former EFN Show title holder. The Berserker is an ex-Bellator fighter who enters his eighteenth season as a pro and he’s known for his high level grappling. The 36-year-old likes to use his submission prowess to get it done, picking up nine tap outs along the way. His choke game is one of the best in the division and has a technique for every position.

Piotr Kaczprak (12-6) is a hometown fighter and is a regular on these Radom shows. The 27-year-old is a former Babilon MMA champion and is another high level BJJ player. The Pole is very adept at taking the back and sinking in the rear naked choke, however he’s not a one trick pony in the submission game. He’s developed a very competitive kickboxing game and has a beautiful head kick and a heavy punch. Wojciech Kazieczko (6-2) is on a three-fight win streak and comes from a kickboxing background. The 28-year-old’s striking is very pleasing on the eye, always bringing some pizzazz, technique and aggression. Along with the knockout threat, he’s got a very sneaky Jiu Jitsu acumen, and even has a buggy choke victory as an amateur. As a professional, he proved his ability with a ninja choke win over Josef Štummer in October 2024. His brother Maciej is another well known, exciting KSW fighter.

Andi Vrtačić (7-3) is one of the highlights of the friendly relationships between KSW and Fight Nation Championship in the Balkans. The Croatian is looking to bounce back from a defeat to the great Michał Michalski, and had previously won three-bouts in-a-row. The 31-year-old is a vicious striker who causes massive damage to his opponents and the white canvas. The Pula man has four knockout wins and he’s a man that keeps the cutpeople in a job. Mateusz Goła (6-6) is a training partner of the great KSW interim Featherweight Champion Patryk Kaczmarczyk in the Radom Taekwondo Club, so he’ll have local fans supporting him. The TFL veteran is a present sent in clear wrapping paper, his game plan is well known. “Gruby”’s goal is to send opponents into the land of wind and ghosts, and he’s tough enough to eat shots in return. All six victories came via knockout, usually in devastating and brutal fashion. His last win was back in May of last year, a highlight reel question mark kick into scissor kick finish.

Viktor Červinský (5-2) is a solid young prospect hailing from the southern border. The Czech got picked up his first KSW victory with a lovely triangle choke over Michał Gniady in August. The 22-year-old was a champion in RFA and is a very clever submission player with a wide array of choke techniques. He’s also competed under Muay Thai rules professionally, and won his MMA debut with a knockout. He’s got the ability to go very far. Amaury Wako (4-0) has made a big name for himself in his fledgling KSW career, picking up two first-round knockout wins. “Wako Zabo” emerged as a prospect from the French expansion, and he had a long and successful nine-fight amateur career and has been perfect since turning pro. The Parisian has great patience and likes to download the data early, before picking his moment to explode. In the submission games, he likes to work the arms.

Henry Fadipe (15-12-1) trains out of Moore Street in Dublin and is one of the nicest guys on the circuit. The 34-year-old is a patient and thoughtful striker who likes to use his technique to pick off opponents. The Team Fantom man has big power in his hands and picked up a rare Peruvian necktie win in KSW, one of the best submissions in the promotion’s history. He’s never turned down a challenge and is always looking to entertain. Last time out, he beat Steven Krt. Konrad Rusiński (6-3) returns after sitting out 2025. The 28-year-old prefers the grappling arts and has four submission wins on his records. The former Babilon MMA contender had an amazing run at amateur level, winning twelve bouts. Amongst his best techniques are a wicked guillotine and a slick back take into rear naked choke.

Oleksandr Moisa (4-1) has been a martial artist for a long time and was once kickboxing for One Championship a few years ago. The Ukrainian was also a champion in Lethwei, a code that includes headbutts. The 31-year-old has won his last four MMA bouts and he has major power in his hands. He does damage, he makes opponents bleed their own blood, and he loves a scrap. Iras Khizrev (4-0) has been perfect as a pro, and trains out of one of Europe’s best up-and-coming gyms, Spitfire Berlin. The Berlin man likes to do his work on the ground and he has a great wrestling game. From there he’s a monster with ground and pound and he’ll either force the ref to end it or make you give up your back for a choke. Everything we’ve seen so far was on the German local scene, this will be his biggest step up to date.

KSW 114 is live from Radom at 18:00 Dublin time this Saturday night and the PPV can be purchased at KSWTV.com. If you’re looking for a taste of what’s to come, the first two fights will air for free on Youtube, as well as the infamous KSW opening ceremony.
