Norbert Novenyi Jr. vs. Dalton Rosta set for Bellator Dublin

Officials from the promotion have confirmed to SevereMMA that a middleweight bout between top prospects Norbert Novenyi Jr and Dalton Rosta has been made. The fight will take place on the Bellator champion series in Dublin on Saturday, June 22nd.

Novenyi is the latest product of the famed London Shootfighters gym in England. Novenyi, whose father is a former Olympic wrestling gold medalist and world kickboxing champion, has been touted for glory from a young age and, thus far, has delivered at every turn. Currently 7-0 with 6 finishes, the Hungarian born Novenyi has wins over the likes of Laid Zerhouni and Will Fleury and has flourished technically in all areas.

Across the pond, Rosta trains out of American Top Team – another world class gym. Undefeated as an amatuer, he was signed to Bellator and has fought all of his professional bouts inside with circle. Coming off of his first loss in a step up against Aaron Jeffery last time out, Rosta is currently 8-1 for his career with his best wins coming against Anthony Adams and Romero Cotton.

With Bellator the home of the middleweight division in their merger with PFL, this is a massive match-up and could well see the winner within touching distance of the champion Johnny Eblen.
