Cage Warriors 153 Weigh-In Results

Dublin’s 3Arena takes center stage tomorrow night as Rhys “Skeletor” McKee defends his welterweight throne against UK veteran “Judo” Jim Wallhead in a main event title unification bout.

It’s the first time Cage Warriors grace the Republic of Ireland since their Cork show in November 2019, and 6 years since they last hosted a Dublin show. On that night at Cage Warriors 81, Karl Moore won the vacant light heavyweight title with a 5-round decision over Josh Clark.

With talk of a second stint in the UFC should McKee win, it’s an exciting time for Irish MMA. Title ramifications could well be on the line Dubliner’s Ryan Shelley and James Sheehan too, should they emerged victorious from their respective bouts against Tobias Harila and Oban Elliott, respectively.

In total, 15 Irish-based fighters are in action on what could be an historic card.

All competitors weighed in successfully this morning in Dublin, with Nicola Leblond being the only fighter to need additional time.
