Did you miss us?

We missed you!

After a weekend off, the UFC returns to action this evening at a unique time, bringing the card originally targeted for Seoul, South Korea to the APEX in Las Vegas, showcasing the Road to UFC tournament finals, and tacking on the postponed heavyweight clash between struggling veteran Derrick Lewis and ascending hopeful Serghei Spivac.

This is a quintessential “Spencer Card” — one of those low-profile, limited-experience joints that yours truly tends to love because I enjoy paying a great deal of attention to competitors in the early stages of their careers, just getting their feet wet in the UFC waters.

As such, I really enjoyed putting together all this content this week, and hope you check it out in order to get a better sense of who to pay attention to here, what’s at stake in some of these fights, and why to be excited about the action set to hit the Octagon.

It’s the start of an eight-week run of UFC events week-on-week, so buckle up and get ready for loads of table-setting content, collected for your easy-viewing enjoyment every Saturday.
