Carl McNally to face Miłosz Melchert in KSW Debut

Ireland’s Carl McNally (1-0) is set to face Poland’s Miłosz Melchert (2-0) in a bantamweight fight at KSW 73 on Saturday 20th August in Warsaw, Poland. Multiple sources confirmed the matchup to SevereMMA.com.

McNally signed a multi-fight contract with the leading Polish promotion earlier this month. The 27-year-old, who trains out of ZJK in Belfast under Danny Corr, won bronze at the 2015 IMMAF World Championships, losing out to future UFC fighter Jose “Shorty” Torres.

Turning pro earlier this year, “King Carlos” scored a highlight-reel submission finish that drew attention from the masses for its unorthodox style.

McNally will face off against a fellow undefeated pro in Poland’s Melchert. After a 5-2 amateur career, Melchert turned pro earlier this year, registering a brace of consecutive finishes in his March and June contests.

KSW 73 will be headlined by former Glory heavyweight Arkadiusz Wrzosek vs. Tomasz Sarara (1-0). Irish fans can watch the card by purchasing on the KSW website or the KSW App
