Cage Legacy 14 Preview & Full Card

On Sunday the 12th of December Cage Legacy wraps up the year with a quality amateur fight card topped off by four title fights. The event is set to go down in the Pillo Hotel in Ashbourne, Co. Meath, the same venue used for Cage Legacy 13. Tickets for the event are sold out, however, the event will be available to watch on PPV.

The Main Event is a striking fan’s dream as Shauna Bannon meets Shanelle Dyer for the Flyweight Belt. Bannon is undefeated this year going 4-0 overall including an impressive IMMAF World Cup run where she won Senior Bantamweight Gold. Coming from a Kickboxing background she is renowned for her striking ability, a key element to her MMA game that has been on display in all of her fights to date.

On the other side of the cage will be the travelling Shanelle Dyer who is coming off a recent CWSE Flyweight Title win. She comes from a Muay Thai background and has shown some impressive footwork and powerful striking so far in her MMA career. This fight will be Bannon’s last fight ahead of her turning pro in the new year and is not to be missed.

Rising star Max Lally will also feature on the card to defend his Super Lightweight belt against Alex Connolly from SBG Clonmel. Lally has been in sensational form, catching the eye of fans with his performances and activity. Connolly is yet to find success in MMA despite g

For the Bantamweight strap, Taylor Quinn is back for his 8th fight this year against the undefeated Elvis Luko. Quinn won a Junior Silver Medal at the IMMAF World Cup this year and was unlucky not to get the belt in his last outing against Oisin Fox. He has slick some slick grappling ability that continues to impress and could be a key factor to winning this one. Luko on the other hand is on a roll this year and has looked well-rounded in his performances to date, this will be a decent step up for him.

The final title fight of the card sees Conor McCarthy and Matthew O’Rourke battle it out for the Welterweight strap. The full fight card is as follows.
