Well, Here’s the Good News

It’s not all doom and gloom in the world of Mixed Martial Arts. Some members of the MMA community have been doing some great things and announcing exciting personal news. It’s important to stay positive, and I’m here to help you achieve that goal. We have decided to help keep that positivity flowing the best that we can. Nothing but good news for you to feast your eyes on.

Mlambo took home yet another title to SBG HQ last Saturday night when he defeated Jonas Mågård go pick up FEN Bantamweight Title. The South African born, Dublin based fighter moved to 10-5 in his professional debut and we look forward to seeing him defend his title in the future.

UFC middleweight fighter Chris Weidman suffered a horrific leg break at UFC 261 last April. It was great to see the former middleweight champion back up, and on his feet this week. We wish him a speedy recovery.

Shout out to UFC featherweight fighter Jared Gordon who is using his platform to help out people who a dealing with addiction issues. Gordon himself has suffered with addiction issues in the past, gladly he overcame those issues and it is brilliant to see him competing at the highest level inside the octagon.

Arjan Singh Bhullar became the new ONE Championship heavyweight champion when he defeated Brandon Vera in mid-May. The win earned him a shoutout from the Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
