Well, Here’s the Good News

It’s not all doom and gloom in the MMA world. Some members of the MMA community have been doing some great things and announcing exciting personal news. It’s important to stay positive, and I’m here to help you achieve that goal. We have decided to help keep that positivity flowing the best that we can. Nothing but good news for you to feast your eyes on.

Former UFC heavyweight Justin Wren has been doing some tremendous work in the Congo with his non-profit organisation. Fight For The Forgotten, a foundation built to provide clean water and land to the formerly-enslaved Mbuti Pygmy people in the jungles of the Congo. Justin is getting the help from Dustin Poirier and Joe Rogan for his next project. One of the all time boxing greats Manny Pacquiao also has offered some help to the foundation. Very nice to see boxing and MMA stars joining forces to create some good in the world.

Newly crowned UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou received a hero welcome when he returned home to Cameroon this week. Scroll right to see the crazy scenes. Surely a UFC event in Africa is only around the corner.

Huge congratulations to Demian Maia who received his 5th degree Black Belt in BJJ. An amazing achievement from the UFC welterweight.
