Stipe Miocic is set to defend his heavyweight title against number one contender Francis Ngannou. Miocic defended his title against the Cameroonian a couple of years back. The champion looks to make history repeat itself in the evening’s main event.

Francis Ngannou became the new heavyweight champion of the world. The Cameroon fighter beat Stipe Miocic with a devastating a second round knockout. Jon Jones is waiting in the wings for the next shot at the title and what a fight that would be, if it goes down.

Vicente Luque choked out Tyron Woodley in what was a wild fight in the welterweight division. Woodley lost his fourth fight in a row, and has not won a fight since losing his title to Kamaru Usman. The win for Luque will see him move up into the upper echelon of the 170-pound division.

The Suga show returned and Sean O’Malley got back into the win column in the featherweight division. O’Malley dominated Thomas Almeida and got the TKO win in round three.

Miranda Maverick snapped up the biggest win of her career in the flyweight division. The 23-year old went all the way to the scorecards and picked up a unanimous decision victory.

Jamie Mullarkey got his first win under the UFC lights. The Australian stunned Khama Worthy with a beautiful left hook and went on to win by ground and pound in under one minute.

Alonzo Menifield pick up a quick first round submission when he wrapped up a von-flue choke in his win over Fabio Cherant.

Abubakar Nurmagomedov, cousin of Khabib, picked up his first UFC win when he beat Jared Gooden by unanimous decision.

Michal Oleksiejczuk overcame Modestas Bukauskas with the help of the judges. The Polish light heavyweight moves to a record of 15-4 and picked up his first win in three fights.

New Zealand’s Shane Young went the distance with Omar Morales in the 145-pound division. Morales got the nod on all three judges scorecards in what was a relatively easy win for the Venezuelan.

Marc-Andre Barriault and Abu Azaitar battled it out for almost three rounds in the middleweight division. Barriault won the fight by TKO at 4:56 of round three, the Canadian won his first fight under the UFC banner.
