Paddy Pimblett to headline Cage Warriors return to Liverpool on September 1st

[Press Release] CW President Graham Boylan confirms CW95: London on July 21st and CW96: Liverpool on September 1st, headlined by Paddy ‘The Baddy’ Pimblett.

Cage Warriors’ relentless run of events in 2018 is showing no signs of slowing. After a monumental event in Liverpool for CW90, followed by sold-out shows in Wales and London, Europe’s leading MMA promotion will hit Gothenburg, Sweden for CW93 and Antwerp, Belgium for CW94 in the coming months. And now Cage Warriors president Graham Boylan has announced even more for MMA fans to get excited about – CW95 at London’s Indigo at the O2 arena on July 21st, and a return to Liverpool’s Echo Arena for CW96 headlined by one of the most talked-about names in European MMA, Paddy ‘The Baddy’ Pimblett.

Despite plenty calling for Pimblett to feature on the UFC’s newly-announced Liverpool date, ‘The Baddy’ remains determined to carry out his mission to reclaim a Cage Warriors world title by signing a new multi-fight deal with Boylan’s promotion. Whether or not his CW96 appearance will be a challenge for a title is yet to be confirmed, but one thing is for certain: Pimblett will return to the Echo Arena on September 1st at the top of the bill.

But first, Cage Warriors will return to the capital for CW95, after staging their most ambitious card in recent years for the London crowd at CW92: Super Saturday. Since Cage Warriors’ return 2 years ago, London has provided some of the promotion’s most memorable scenes. CW95 is expected to sell out quickly, so fans are advised to make the most of Cage Warriors’ 20% off early bird offer when tickets go on sale on Friday 30th March.

“London and Liverpool have turned into two seriously strong pillars for MMA in Europe,” says Boylan. “There’s some incredible talent coming out of both cities, and our events there get better every time. We’re always looking to do bigger things and take greater steps to give fans what they want – the best Cage Warriors experience we can possibly offer. These next two shows will do exactly that.”
