Neil Seery vs. Ian McCall rescheduled for UFC 208

ESPN’s Brett Okamoto is tonight reporting that Ireland’s Neil Seery will face American Ian McCall at UFC 208.

The pair were initially supposed to meet at last month’s UFC event in Belfast but that was cancelled when McCall fell ill on fight week.

Fighting out of Team Ryano in Dublin this will be Seery’s seventh UFC fight having gone 3-3 previously. The Dubliner has picked up wins over Jon Delos Reyes, Chris Beal and Phil Harris.

Long considered one of the best flyweights in the world, Ian McCall is probably Seery’s toughest task to date. The American has a draw with champion Demetrious Johnson on his record as well as wins over names like Brad Pickett and Jussier Formiga.

This will be Seery’s last ever MMA fight after announcing he would retire before their first scheduling.

UFC 208 takes place in Brooklyn, New York on February 11th.
