Dana White made an appearance on UFC’s ‘Unfiltered’ podcast this week, commenting on several topics, including Cris ‘Cyborg’ Justino and the newly formed Mixed Martial Arts Athletes Association (MMAAA).

The UFC president revealed that Justino had been offered two potential title fights, which she turned down due to issues surrounding the weight-cut, against Holly Holm and Germaine De Randamie. White stated that both fights would have marked the inaugural launch of a women’s featherweight division within the UFC.

Talking to the UFC Unfiltered podcast White claimed, “I offered Cris Cyborg a title fight at 145 pounds a month ago, she had eight weeks to get ready for it, she said she couldn’t make the weight, said she couldn’t make 145 pounds.”

White went on to claim that Cyborg was made a similar offer for a bout at UFC 208, again turning it down due to weight issues.

White also went on later in the podcast to take aim at Bjorn Rebney, a spokesman for the recently announced MMAAA and former owner of rival promotion Bellator MMA.

“Listen, I don’t know enough about it to really speak on it,” he said during the podcast. “The only thing I need to know is the biggest scumbag in the history of combat sports — Bjork — is involved in this thing.”

“And if you’re a fighter — listen, there’s three unions out there now all battling against each other. And if you’re a fighter, these guys are all looking to get in your pocket. It’s another business, it’s a business where guys are going to make money. And if you’re a fighter and this is what you want to do, you’ve got to figure out whose hand you want in your pocket. And I guarantee you, you don’t want Bjork’s hand in your pocket.”
