Gunnar Nelson: 100% Conor McGregor can submit Jose Aldo

Gunnar Nelson joined Submission Radio for a chat about his MMA career, the highly anticipated featherweight title showdown between Jose Aldo and Conor McGregor and how the grappling side of things may look on July 11th

“He’s very good on the ground, and he’s even better when it’s grappling for MMA,” Gunnar said of McGregor to Submission Radio.

“That’s a lot of difference. You know, grappling or Jiu Jitsu is not the same as the wrestling and grappling in MMA, and he’s really good there. He’s got good submissions, he’s very fast and he can move in most directions”

“He’s getting better every single day. So yeah, I’m sure if a good black belt forgets himself for a second, he’s on you and he’s probably going to submit you.”

When asked if McGregor could submit Aldo he said, “Oh, one hundred percent he can.”
