Joseph Duffy to face Jake Lindsey at UFC 185 after injury to Rocha

Irishman Joseph Duffy was scheduled to make his UFC debut against Vagner Rocha, however UFC.com announced tonight that Rocha has been forced to pull out of the bout due to injury and will be replaced by Jake Lindsey at UFC 185.

UFC 185 takes place in Dallas, Texas on March 14th which sees lightweight champion Anthony Pettis defending his title against Rafael Dos Anjos.

Here is the statement from UFC.com..

“The last man to defeat Conor McGregor, Irish lightweight Joseph Duffy, will have a new opponent for his Octagon debut next month, as Jake Lindsey will replace the injured Vagner Rocha in UFC 185 action in Dallas on March 14.

Originally scheduled to face James Moontasri next weekend in Broomfield before withdrawing from the bout, Lindsey will return to American Airlines Center to take on the 12-1 Donegal product.”
