Conor McGregor’s ACL surgery “a complete success”

Conor McGregor suffered a complete ACL tear in his knee during his victory over Max Holloway in Boston last month and earlier today he went under the knife to repair the damage.

According to his teammate Cathal Pendred the surgery “was a complete success”.

Pendred revealed the news moments ago via his twitter

“. @TheNotoriousMMA has had his surgery and it was a complete success. Those UFC 145 pounders can go back to having sleepless nights now. ” – ‏@PendredMMA

Conor is expected to be back in action inside the Octagon in 9-10 months however he revealed via his twitter earlier in the week that he is working “with the No.1 Surgeon who worked on GSP, Tom Brady and Kobe Bryant.”

And finished by saying “My recovery will be ground-breaking!”
