José Aldo injured; out of UFC 149 main event with Eric Koch

UFC Featherweight Champion José Aldo is the latest name to be added to the UFC injury list according to Showdown Joe.

Replacing Aldo vs Koch as the main event of UFC 149 will be Faber vs Barao, which was originally scheduled for UFC 147.

“Jose Aldo injured; bout vs Erik Koch postponed. New UFC 149 main event will be @UrijahFaber vs Renan Barao.” – ShowdownJoe

The story is yet to be confirmed by anyone in the UFC or the Aldo camp, however Showdown Joe is a well trusted MMA reporter/presenter and is in with the UFC brass, so expect it to be confirmed soon.
