Reports: Overeem out of UFC 141 against Lesnar

Frank Mir stated at the UFC 140 post-fight press conference that he is ready and willing to step in on late notice to face Brock if Overeem is indeed out.

According to Kevin Iole of Yahoo Sports, Alistair Overeem may be out of the UFC 141 main event against Brock Lesnar.

“Hearing could be a change in UFC 141 main event. Overeem may be out of the fight.”

Josh Gross posted on twitter saying

“White denies Overeem is off the Lesnar card. But Alistair is on Mon.’s NSAC agenda. I’ve heard possibly in connection w/ prefight drug test.”

The much less reliable @BloodstainLane has posted on twitter saying

“Supposedly he skipped town back to Holland to avoid a random drug test he was supposed to take”
