Canada’s number 1 ranked heavyweight Tim Hague announced on his facebook that he will face 50 year old Maurice ‘Mo’ Smith who is 13-13 in his professional career. The former UFC heavyweight champion Maurice Smith has only fought 3 times since 2000, winning 2 but losing his last in 2008 by submission in the first round.

Hague who was recently cut from the UFC, fought once since and won by guillotine submission in the first round at Aggression MMA 8 in Canada.

Brazil Jan 20 in Kumite Combate, I’m fighting ex UFC heavyweight champ, and world champ kickboxer Maurice Smith. Looking for sponsors who would like to help me out on my path back to the UFC. This is a very important fight for me. The support is greatly appreciated!! Merry Christmas.
