Darragh Kelly vs Mathias Poiron Added to Bellator Dublin

Undefeated Irish prospect, Darragh Kelly (5-0), is set to return to the Bellator MMA cage.

Per sources, Kelly is scheduled to face Frenchman Mathias Poiron (7-1) in a lightweight contest, which will be featured on the main card of the Bellator Champion Series: Dublin card in 3Arena on Saturday 22nd June.

SBG Ireland’s Kelly boasts an unblemished record at both the amateur and professional levels. Since turning pro in 2022, “The Moville Mauler” has finished 4 of his 5 fights. Most recently, the Donegal native scored a third-round TKO over Jelle Zeegers at Bellator 299 last September.

Mathias Poiron brings a 100% finish rate into the matchup. The Climax Fight Academy fighter notched 7 consecutive finishes to begin his pro career. However, he will be aiming to rebound into the win column when he enters the cage versus Kelly, having most recently suffered a 4th-round defeat when fighting for the MMA GP lightweight title.

Kelly joins fellow Irish fighters Paul Hughes, Sinéad Kavanagh, Nathan Kelly, and Brian Moore on the card. A welterweight title fight between champion, Jason Jackson (18-4) and undefeated challenger, Ramazan Kuramagomedov (12-0), will serve as the main event of the evening.
