Cage Legacy 14 announced for December 12th; fans set to return

After the success of Cage Legacy 13, the promotion has quickly organised another event. They have announced that they will return on December 12th with Cage Legacy 14. The Pillo Hotel in Meath will host the promotion for a second consecutive occasion. Following the latest updates concerning restrictions in Ireland, fans will be permitted to attend this event.

The last time that Cage Legacy had fans in attendance was at Cage Legacy 12 when the promotion visited the Neptune Stadium in County Cork. This is expected to be the second MMA event in the Republic of Ireland to welcome back fans. The 3Arena will be the first when Bellator return to Dublin early next month.

Cage Legacy 13 was a stacked card full of phenomenal upcoming amateur fighters. It is understood that there will be some pro-action on this card along with another high-level amateur card. Many of the fighters from the most recent event will be hoping to book themselves in for another fight.

Speaking with SevereMMA following the announcement, Declan Kenna of Cage Legacy gave his thoughts on welcoming MMA back and having fans at the next event.

“It was really exciting to have Cage Legacy back after so much time, it was around 2 years of MMA not being in the South so it was really big for Cage Legacy as a brand to get back and it was really exciting to see all the amateur MMA fighters all get back.”

“With current regulations, we couldn’t have crowds at the last event but one on December 12, the hotel is okay going by government guidelines that we can have people at the event. We’re super excited to have fans back at the event and the atmosphere is going to be electric. There’ll be 400 tickets available and it will be available on PPV.”

So far the card has two confirmed fights with 5 title fights expected to take place, the current card is as follows:

Maga Zurabov vs. Conor McCarthy – Welterweight Title

Elvis Luko vs. Taylor Quinn – Bantamweight Title
