The interim featherweight champion Conor McGregor returned home to Ireland this weekend, but back in Las Vegas, preparations for the eagerly-awaited UFC 194 are underway. Arriving online today are the full details of the ridiculously stacked card for the 12th December PPV which takes place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Nevada.

This was already a fantastic night for the UFC as champion Jose Aldo and McGregor finally enter the Octagon following the blues of UFC 189 which saw Aldo forced to pull out following a rib injury; a devastating state of affairs given the immense fireworks that erupted across the prolonged world tour promotional circuit. Now the featherweights can finally settle the score once and for all, in front of a sell-out crowd and millions of adoring fans across the globe.

Joining ‘Junior’ and ‘The Notorious’ is also middleweight supremo Chris Weidman who’ll be defending his title against Luke Rockhold, plus we’ll be treated to Max Holloway facing Jeremy Stevens and even Demian Maia vs. Gunnar Nelson, but that’s far from all the excellence on offer.

Additional bouts will see bantamweight and McGregor’s rival TUF coach Urijah Faber face off with Frankie Saenz, and lightweight prospect Kevin Lee facing Leonardo Santos of TUF Brazil 2 fame. UFC President Dana White promised a stunning end to the year at the GO BIG press conference last Friday, and clearly UFC 194 is a major asset in his impressive arsenal. The full card can be viewed below (fight order is currently unconfirmed):
