Omran Chabaan to Face Kheir Khalifa Eshoushan at UAE Warriors 28; Team KF Man Signs Multi-Fight Deal

Omran Chaaban of Team KF has signed a multi-fight deal with UAE Warriors and is set to compete against Kheir Khalifa Eshoushanon an upcoming UAE Warriors card on October 28th.

Chabaan has been training at Team KF for the past 3-years and will compete for UAE Warriors in his second bout with the promotion. Chabaan (1-1) became the number one ranked kickboxer in Finland before jumping over to Mixed Martial Arts. After making the jump, the Team KF competitor won the Finnish Amateur Championships in 2017 & 2018 before representing Finland at the 2018 IMMAF Junior World Championships.

In 2019 Chaaban made his professional debut at Cage Warriors 110 where he picked up a unanimous decision win over Tomasz Wojtyna. Chabaan then traveled over to make his debut at UAE Warriors 18, who are considered the largest MMA promotion in the Middle East, where he was left disappointed after losing to Joan Arastey on the judges scorecards.

Chaaban will take on Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt Kher Khalifa Eshoushan (1-0) for his third professional fight and will return to his more natural weight of 170-pounds. Eshoushan is no stranger to UAE Warriors having made his debut at UAE Warriors 19 where he picked up a first round rear-naked choke victory.

Omran Chaaban has been flying over to Ireland in order to train at the Team KF facilities since he was 19-years old. The welterweight prospect has been, at times, spending the night at the gym in order to achieve his dreams. Omran Chaaban spoke to Severe MMA about his excitement around the fight and the opportunity that the MIddle East promotion has given him.

“My contract with UAE Warriors means a lot to my family. They moved to Finland and they are a traditional Lebanese family. When I decided I wanted to move to Ireland a train MMA full time. They were afraid that it might not work out for me. But for me to get a contract with UAE Warriors, the biggest MMA promotion in the Middle East, my family can see that all my sacrifices, like me sleeping in a gym, was worth it.

My family are so happy and proud for me. For me, that is the best thing about my contract with UAE Warriors. UAE Warriors see potential in me because I am Many time National Champion (Finland), I train in one of the best gyms in Europe (Team KF). Imagine that I’m Born in Finland, My Heritage is from Lebanon and I train in Dublin Ireland. What else does a promoter need? And I’m only 21 years old.”
