Hughes, who hails from Co. Derry, is currently undefeated in his professional career. The twenty-two-year-old is fighting out of Belfast’s Fight Academy Ireland. He started his professional career with a KO win over Adam Gustab in 2017. Since then he has finished all of his Cage Warriors fights. Hughes, who fights at featherweight is looking to make it six undefeated, standing in his way is Aiden ‘The Phenomenal’ Stephen.

Stephen has amassed a 3-1 record inside the Cage Warriors ranks. The Scotsman fights out of SBG Moray in Elgin, Scotland. He has picked up wins over Kris Edwards, Kingsley Crawford and a first-round KO win over Jack Collins in his last bout. You can certainly expect fireworks when these two guys throw down in the BEC Arena in late September.

Cage Warriors 116 takes place on Saturday September 26 in the BEC Arena, Manchester. Cage Warriors 114 is set to go down on Sept. 24, followed by Cage Warriors 115 on Sept. 25, all behind closed doors. The event marked as “The Trilogy” will have a host of European talent on show along with multiple title fights spread over three nights.
